The company was founded in 2005 by Jim Lewin, a seasoned New York creative director interested in forming a network of exceptionally talented, motivated and fearless people to take on projects outside the realm of traditional advertising. The result is an agile and efficient creative force, designed to help forward-thinking brands make meaningful impacts in an increasingly complex marketplace. Since ditching medical school to pursue a life of storytelling, Jim has helped a wide variety of clients translate brand visions beyond traditional advertising into the entertainment, digital, and experiential spaces. He has produced award-winning advertising for Coca-Cola, The Outdoor Life Network and Bacardi Global Brands, and has created renowned consumer experiences for Jeep, Activision, Intel, Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, and American Express OPEN. Prior to dedicating himself to freelance creative projects through Heavy Duty Productions, Jim held a variety of positions in the McCann-Erickson Worldgroup, including Executive Creative Director of Momentum, San Francisco and Group Creative Director of Live Events for Momentum North America. He may not be saving lives, but once he gets into a project he sure acts like he is.
